Ukrainian developers have received over $1,000,000 in grants from Brave1 for defense technologies. Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov made this announcement.
"These are 57 unique developments that have undergone rigorous scrutiny by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. More than 500 military experts deemed them crucial to our victory. Some of these technologies are already saving the lives of our fighters on the front lines and helping to destroy the enemy," he said.
These technologies include combat robots with turrets, AI-powered drones, maritime drones, and electronic warfare systems.
Brave1 is a joint initiative with the Ministry of Defense, the General Staff, the National Security and Defense Council, the Ministry of Strategic Industries, and the Ministry of Economy. The cluster brings together hundreds of top developers and military personnel for better collaboration. Defense forces can assign specific tasks to developers, and companies receive specialized support and grants for product development.
In total, Brave1 received 583 projects, with 305 of them already passing defense expertise. Another 19 projects are in the process of concluding contracts worth $315,000. It is believed that Ukrainian solutions will help achieve a technological advantage on the battlefield.
