The Ukrainian Fashion Council team and Ukrainian Fashion Week are excited to share news about the continuation of their partnership with the British Fashion Council and London Fashion Week. This season, thanks to the collaboration between the organizations under the "Support Ukrainian Fashion" initiative by UFW, a showcase of three Ukrainian fashion brands will take place. On September 19th in London, KSENIASCHNAIDER, ELENAREVA, and NADYA DZYAK will present their SS24 collections.
"This joint presentation of Ukrainian designers will be held on the London Fashion Week runway for the second time. We are deeply grateful to our British partners, the British Fashion Council, and London Fashion Week, for their ongoing support of Ukrainian designers. Creating against the destructive essence of war, generating the new despite the devastation brought by Russian aggression. Designers see this as their mission. And we remain committed to our mission of supporting and promoting Ukraine's fashion industry. Showcasing to the world that resilience and dignity are virtues not only of our soldiers," said Irina Danilevska, co-founder and CEO of Ukrainian Fashion Week, and head of the Expert Committee of the Ukrainian Fashion Council.
Additionally, the brand FROLOV will also present its new SS24 collection in the main schedule of London Fashion Week as part of the "Support Ukrainian Fashion" initiative by UFW. This marks the brand's first individual show since 2020. The showcase of Ukrainian designers is made possible with the support of the USAID Competitive Economy of Ukraine Programme.
