Intelligence operatives from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine participated in the 48th U.S. Marine Corps marathon.
As part of the event, which gathers thousands of people from various countries and traditionally takes place in Washington, participants can run distances of 10, 42, and 50 kilometers.
Participants in each run finish near the Iwo Jima Memorial in Arlington, the capital. This complex is built in memory of those who sacrificed their lives for the values of democracy and freedom of American Marines. The members of the military intelligence of Ukraine dedicated their completion of the marathon to those who fell in the war against terrorist Russia, their comrades in arms, and all defenders of the independence of our state and nation.
