How forced migrants from Ukraine provide additional impetus to the European economy.

Our international partners provide us with unprecedented support, which helps the Armed Forces to hold the front and liberate the occupied territories in the south and east of Ukraine.

In addition to the military, financial and humanitarian aid that comes to Ukraine, significant support is also provided to our forced migrants.

However, it is important to pay attention to the reverse process as well: our citizens actively spend their savings in the host countries, get employed and pay taxes, making a significant contribution to the economies of the EU countries.

Therefore, Ukrainians in the West are not a burden but a valuable asset that gives impetus to European economies. Such a conclusion can be made after getting acquainted with a recent study by NBU specialists.

The results of this study once again prove that Ukrainian men (and in this case mostly Ukrainian women) are not used to sitting idly by and are actively integrating into the labor market.

In particular, they resort to entrepreneurship in the countries of their forced stay. For Europe, such migrants are instead a find and a gain, for us they are a colossal loss.
