"Ukrzaliznytsia" announces the "Christmas Express" in Kyiv and Lviv. This is a retro train with a steam locomotive that will operate on December 23, 24, 30, and 31.
The "Kyiv Passenger" – "Kyiv Fairytale" route will depart twice a day at 10:27 and 12:40. The "Lviv" – "Lviv Fairytale" trains will run three times a day at 10:05, 13:00, and 15:20.
In "Ukrzaliznytsia," it is recommended to arrive "at least 30 minutes before departure" to take photos and participate in the festive program (snacks and gifts will be provided for children). 30% of seats are allocated for free trips for children of deceased railway workers, military personnel, and other social categories.
In case of an air raid alert, trains will continue to operate according to the schedule. However, children's activities will be held not on the platform but in sheltered areas and wagons.
Tickets are already available for purchase through the "Ukrzaliznytsia" application and chatbots.
