US Military Attaché's Death in Kyiv: State Department Releases Preliminary Findings on Tragedy

A spokesperson from the US State Department, Matthew Miller, confirmed the death of the US embassy's military attaché in Kyiv. According to preliminary information, the diplomat, whose body was recently discovered at the Hilton hotel, passed away from natural causes.

This information was reported by the State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller in Washington. During the media briefing, he stated that the US side can "confirm the death of a US government employee who was subordinate to the mission chief at the embassy in Kyiv."

 

 

Miller also commented on the possible cause of death of the embassy attaché.

"There is an understanding that he died of natural causes," Miller said.

Recall that in Kyiv, the body of the US embassy's military attaché was found in a room at the Hilton hotel. It was reported to have occurred on June 25.

The American official arrived in Ukraine on June 15, and it was also reported that he allegedly had elevated cholesterol levels.
