More and more often, from the coast of the occupied Crimea, there are reports of successful attacks on objects of the Black Sea Fleet of Russia.
Thanks to the Ukrainian naval drones of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Magura V5, the reconnaissance ship "Ivan Khurs," the landing ships "Akula" and "Serna," the missile ship "Ivanovets," the large landing ship "Cezar Kunikov," and the patrol ship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, "Sergey Kotov," have gone to the bottom. Recently, they also struck the ship repair yard of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol, where, among other things, the large landing ship "Yamal" was moored.
"Ukrainian drones are becoming better, more powerful, and more accurate with each passing day. This is the threat that constantly keeps the Russian Federation on edge," said Vadim Skibitsky, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in the documentary project "Main Intelligence Directorate. Battle for the Sea. All Roads Lead to Crimea," part of the national telethon "We are Ukraine."
He noted that the unique maritime drone Magura V5, named after the Slavic goddess of war, is a purely Ukrainian development operated by Ukrainian specialists.
"In the world, no one has done anything like this before. Ukraine, after what happened in February 2022, without a powerful fleet, forced Russia to flee – forced the combat ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet to flee from the territory of Crimea," emphasized Vadim Skibitsky.
He also reported that Ukrainian military intelligence constantly monitors the movement of the Russian ships.
"Everything related to the movement of combat ships and boats of the Russian Federation is constantly monitored in order to timely detect, transmit information, and destroy enemy military objects... These are small bricks laid in large strategic operations – the liberation of all our occupied territories," summarized Vadim Skibitsky.
