Valery Zaluzhny added that hundreds of thousands of men and women are protecting our land, their homes, children and the future of Ukraine.

No statements by the Russian leadership will affect the readiness of Ukrainians to fight for their freedom. The Armed Forces of Ukraine will destroy everyone who comes with weapons to Ukraine, regardless of whether they ended up here voluntarily or by mobilization.

This was stated by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny, reacting to Putin's announcement of partial mobilization in the Russian Federation.

Zaluzhny stressed that Ukrainians have been holding back Russia's armed aggression against their country for 8 years and 7 months.

"The enemy's full-scale offensive did not frighten us. Moreover, we united and adequately met the enemy. The announcement of mobilization in Russia is proof of this," he wrote.

Zaluzhny added that hundreds of thousands of men and women are protecting our land, their homes, children, and the future of Ukraine.

"Therefore, no statements by the military-political leadership of the aggressor country will affect our readiness to fight for our freedom. We will destroy everyone who comes to our land with weapons - either voluntarily or by mobilization," he said.

  • On September 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of partial mobilization in the country. According to the Russian leadership, first of all, citizens with combat experience of up to 300,000 people will be involved in the war against Ukraine.
