In the US, there is a warning that a quick escape, quick strikes can cause and provoke an escalation of the conflict, but the grinding of enemy forces is what is needed.

A quick victory for Ukraine may cause an inadequate reaction from the head of the Russian Defense Ministry, Sergei Shoigu, and President Vladimir Putin.

This was stated by the Chief Military Prosecutor of Ukraine (2019-2020), Major General of the Reserve Viktor Chumak, on the air of the Espresso TV channel.

“After the outright flight of the Russians from positions, conditionally, tactical nuclear weapons can be used. In the United States, there is a warning that a quick escape, quick strikes can cause and provoke an escalation of the conflict, but grinding the enemy’s forces is exactly that,” the general explained.

According to him, US Army General Lloyd Austin at the first meeting of Rammstein, said that it was necessary to ensure that Russia would never again be able to wage a single war.

"There are two scenarios - a quick victory over Russia and the Russian Federation falls apart, and many risks arise, including for the Western world. The second scenario is grinding. This meat grinder will grind not only troops but also all the resources that Russia has. This is the fall of the military, economic, technological, and human resources. All this in combination can give bleeding to the Russian Federation," Chumak summed up.
