The Vinnytsia City Council has transferred 12 pickups for the needs of mobile fire units.

According to the official page of the city council, Mayor Serhiy Morgunov mentioned that previously the municipality had already provided similar equipment for the defense forces.

Among the items transferred were thermal imagers, floodlights, and charging stations. This time, they decided to transfer off-road vehicles.

The transferred off-road vehicles are manufactured by the Japanese company Mitsubishi, model L200, which have space in the rear for mounting a machine gun mount or other equipment.

Currently, they are already being used by mobile fire units and are protecting the skies of Vinnytsia region from Russian drones.

"It is important to close the sky as much as possible to protect critical infrastructure. And most importantly - to save the lives of our people," - emphasized Morgunov.

The new vehicles have improved the capabilities of the unit and allowed for an increase in the number of prepared vehicles hunting for enemy aerial targets.

The Mitsubishi L200 off-road vehicles are the optimal solution as they feature a powerful diesel engine, all-wheel-drive system, and high reliability.

This ensures the ability to intercept targets over territories where road coverage is absent.
