On the occasion of Defender's Day in Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelensky visited a hospital and awarded state honors to soldiers and medics who save their lives.

"I congratulate you on your day—Defender's Day in Ukraine. Thank you for your service and for protecting Ukraine. Heal quickly, and together we will achieve victory," said the Head of State.

The President awarded two soldiers with the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi III degree, five with the Order for Courage III degree, and one with the Defender of the Fatherland medal.

Volodymyr Zelensky also presented awards to medics, including the Order of Princess Olga III degree and the Order of Daniel of Galicia.
