On the morning of December 29, Russians carried out a massive attack on Ukraine, launching approximately 110 missiles, according to President Volodymyr Zelensky.

"Today, Russia hit almost everything it has in its arsenal: 'Kinzhals,' S-300, cruise missiles, UAVs. Strategic bombers launched Kh-101/Kh-505. About 110 missiles were fired, and most of them were shot down. Unfortunately, as a result of the shelling, there are casualties and injuries. All services are operating in an intensified mode and providing necessary assistance to the people. My condolences to the families and loved ones of the deceased, and I wish a speedy recovery to the injured," the president wrote.

However, the Kyiv City Military Administration stated that in Kyiv, the air raid alarm was sounded three times, lasting almost 5 hours in total. Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed over 30 enemy aerial targets.

Additionally, Air Force spokesperson Yuriy Ignat, in a telethon, announced that in the morning, the occupiers launched almost all types of missiles on Ukrainian territory except for "Kalibr."

"We have never seen so many targets simultaneously on our monitor," Ignat said.
