President Volodymyr Zelensky plans to hold a conference on Sunday, February 25, with the participation of military and political leadership, the Prime Minister, and the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada. This was announced by the press secretary of the head of state, Serhiy Nikiforov, during a national telethon broadcast.
According to him, visits to Ukraine by foreign leaders are planned for February 24.
"I cannot say who exactly it will be for understandable reasons, but we expect that these will not just be symbolic visits of support, but there will also be practical results," Nikiforov said.
As stated by the press secretary of the head of state, an online meeting involving Ukraine and the "Group of Seven" will also take place on this day.
"On February 25, we are preparing something special. It will be a conference, an honest conversation about our path forward, our path in 2024 and beyond. All top speakers from the government will be present, including military and political leadership, the Prime Minister, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Main Intelligence Directorate, the Ministry of Strategic Industries. The First Lady will be there, as well as the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Presidential Office, and of course the President himself. We will discuss various aspects of Ukraine's future, the future of our army, its development, the implementation of modern technologies, integration into the EU and NATO," Nikiforov said.
Topics of discussion will also include the restoration of the mental and physical health of Ukrainians, support for businesses, and all aspects of the country's life in the future.
"After this conference, the President of Ukraine will speak and hold his press conference. He will outline his vision on the topics discussed and answer key questions," the spokesperson added.
