Maksym Kutsyi met the newly appointed Consul General of Poland in Odessa Katarzyna Solek
The Head of the Odessa Regional State Administration Maksym Kutsyi met with the newly appointed Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Odessa, Ms. Katarzyna Solek. He congratulated the diplomat on his appointment to our region and assured that he was ready to cooperate. Mainly in the areas of decentralization and local self-government.
âDecentralization reform is currently in the final stage in Ukraine. We have worked diligently and provided our plan for the creation of united territorial communities in the Odessa region. I am sure that the experience of the administrative division of Poland will help us in the best implementation of this reform â, - said the Head of Odessa Regional State Administration Maksym Kutsyi.
Ms. Katarzyna Solek emphasized that she has extensive experience in self-government of the voivodship. In particular, in 2009-2016, she was responsible for cooperation with Ukraine in the Marshallk Office of the Subcarpathian Voivodeship. And in 2013-2016 she combined this work with the position of Director of the Office of Management of the Subcarpathian Voivodeship. For the past four years, Ms. Katarzyna Solek has been the Deputy Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Lviv.
âAfter working in Lviv, Odessa will be a whole new experience for me. I am open and look forward to our fruitful cooperation. Concerning decentralization, in the future we can organize special internships for ODA and for united territorial communities workers, âsaid the Consul General.
