Kyrylo Budanov: Russia is a cheap raw material appendage to the world

Transferring the war to the territory of the Russian Federation is a great idea.

This statement was made by the Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Major General Kyrylo Budanov, in an interview with the "1+1" TV channel.

The head of Ukraine's Military Intelligence clarified that this refers to actions that are not mirrored to the enemy's military operations.

"We do not use the methods that Russia does, so comparing it is absolutely wrong. The war should be shifted to a different territory, which, of course, for us is Russia, as well as the territory where their influence is located," said Kyrylo Budanov.

According to him, the goal of these actions by Ukraine is to stretch and confine the enemy.

"The wider these operations, the better," emphasized the Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Kyrylo Budanov called on the international community to return to the language of facts and to engage with Russia according to what it is.

"Many fears about Russia and its place and role are not even a myth; it's a soap bubble. And we need to talk to them with regard to who they are - a cheap resource and raw material appendage to the world," explained the Chief of Ukraine's Military Intelligence.

The head of Ukrainian intelligence is convinced that after being defeated in the war against Ukraine, Russia will develop revanchist sentiments, and it will take approximately 10 years for the aggressor state to recover militarily.

"We will definitely have 10 years, and if we can influence other territories created after Ukraine's victory through other means, we may have much more, but at least 10 years will be needed," emphasized Kyrylo Budanov
