Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Serhiy Naiev, announced that in the Northern operational zone, new mobile air defense units are protecting the skies not only on land but also over water. He shared this information on Facebook.
According to Naiev, military sailors from the separate river division honed their skills over the course of a year. As a result of these efforts, new mobile air defense units were formed, defending the Ukrainian skies in the Northern operational zone not only on land but also over water.
"I personally observed it several times and was involved in improving their effectiveness," emphasized the commander.
Naiev also awarded military sailors for their work in downing enemy targets.
