Ukrainian brand LITKOVSKA launches a charity collaboration with AZOV.ONE — the official fundraising division of the Azov Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine.
The goal of the initiative is to raise 3.5 million UAH to purchase evacuation vehicles that will allow the rapid and safe transport of the wounded from the most dangerous frontline areas.
“Azov holds a special meaning for me — as it does for many Ukrainians. This collaboration, this connection began long before today: from my appearance with a 'Help Mariupol Azovstal Now' poster at Kornit Fashion Week in London that went viral in global media, to the embroidered ‘Prayer for Azov’ in the Vesnianka collection, and through many initiatives that weren’t made public,” says Lilia Litkovska, founder of the LITKOVSKA brand.
“Together with AZOV.ONE, we worked for a long time to create meaningful, powerful objects — for the defenders and for those supporting them from the rear. We are honored to take part in raising funds for medical vehicles that save the lives of our soldiers.”
As part of the collaboration, a limited collection was created — a fusion of symbolism, prayer, and craftsmanship. It includes tags and bracelets made from spent shell casings brought from the frontlines — not just accessories, but silent witnesses of war. Bandanas and shirts are embroidered with a prayer — as silence before the battle, and a voice calling one home.
“A chance meeting grew into a friendship. Nearly a year of conversations, reflections, and immersing ourselves in history together with the Honor Guard and my friend Docent. These objects are mediators for anyone who wants to support and find their own meaning in this. And they carry an important mission — to help achieve our shared goal: an evacuation vehicle for Azov’s medical service. This is part of the story we are writing together,” adds Vladyslav Khlopenko, Head of Partnerships at AZOV.ONE.
The initiative also includes a collaboration with GORN Ceramics, which created eight exclusive ceramic art objects — symbols of scarred earth from which flowers still manage to grow. These pieces are exhibited at LITKOVSKA’s flagship Basecamp space, ahead of a charity auction to be held in June, with the possibility of advance purchase.
“Throughout human history, many empires and rulers have tried to conquer the world. But in the end, only names and ruins remain — life continues. A new forest grows on scorched ground. That is the design of the Creator. Only God has the right to give and take life,” comments Yurii Mirko, Ukrainian artist, sculptor, and chief artist at GORN Ceramics.
All proceeds from the collection and the auction will go toward purchasing a medical evacuation vehicle for the Azov Brigade.
