Lithuania has called on the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance to provide Ukraine with all possible weapons necessary to achieve victory over Russia. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gabrielius Landsbergis, as reported by the press service of the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"Ukraine proves every day that it can effectively resist the aggressor, and we need to strengthen the Alliance's will and actions to support Ukraine, which is fighting for the security of the entire Euro-Atlantic space. NATO countries should provide Ukraine with all possible weapons necessary for victory," said the head of Lithuanian diplomacy during a meeting.
During the Ukraine-NATO Council meeting with Dmytro Kuleba, ministers of NATO countries discussed in detail the situation in Ukraine, priority reforms being implemented on Ukraine's path to future Alliance membership, and the support, especially military support, needed for Ukraine to achieve victory.
The head of Lithuanian diplomacy also met with the Supreme Allied Commander Europe and discussed the situation in Ukraine and actions to ensure transatlantic security.
