PJSC Ukrgazvydobuvannia, which is part of the Naftogaz Group, has launched a well at a recently discovered field. Its daily output is 170,000 cubic meters of gas, and the depth is 4,202 meters. Since the beginning of the year, this is already the 15th well at this field.
"The new well has been drilled in the central part of the field. By the end of the year, we plan to drill one more, and another four are planned for next year. Thanks to the professional and coordinated work of all specialists at Ukrgazvydobuvannia, we have been able to increase production for the second year in a row. Thank you all for your professional work and this result," noted Oleksii Chernyshov, Chairman of the Board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine.
According to acting head of Ukrgazvydobuvannia Serhii Lahno, this result was achieved thanks to the successful choice of the drilling location.
"This was preceded by earlier 3D seismic surveys and their quality analysis, the preliminary identification of promising horizons, and the clarification of their capacity," he added.
