On the burning Russian oil depot "Atlas" near the city of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky in the Rostov region (RF), another explosion occurred. This facility has been engulfed in flames since yesterday after a drone attack.
This was reported by Russian media and Telegram channels.
Emergency services are still working at the Russian "Atlas" plant in the Rostov region, trying to deal with the powerful fire.
According to the Telegram channel SHOT, witnesses heard an explosion at the oil facility late Wednesday evening.
The Russian side also indicated the preliminary cause of this explosion as the depressurization of one of the three burning tanks due to the fire.
Meanwhile, Baza clarifies that due to the depressurization and the new explosion, a fourth tank at the "Atlas" oil depot has already caught fire.
"Currently, over 200 people are trying to extinguish the fire," adds this Telegram channel.
According to the Astra publication, after the new explosion at the facility in the Rostov region, the glow from the fire can be seen for tens of kilometers.
Recall that on August 28, the "Atlas" oil depot in the Rostov region was attacked by drones. This caused a massive fire and serious damage to the fuel tanks at the facility.
