On the night of May 20, the Russians launched another night attack against Ukraine. The air defense forces managed to destroy all the Shahed-131/136 UAVs launched by the Russian forces.
This was reported by the Telegram channel of the Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Mykola Oleschuk.
During the shelling, the Russian forces attacked the Kharkiv region with an Iskander-M ballistic missile and also launched 29 Shaheds from the areas of Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Kursk.
The following forces were involved in repelling the attack:
- Fighter aviation;
- Anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force;
- Mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine;
- Electronic warfare units.
A total of 29 Shaheds were destroyed in:
- Odessa;
- Mykolaiv;
- Poltava;
- Lviv regions.
