Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine, Oleksandr Kamyshin, called on NATO to purchase 1 million drones for Ukraine from Ukrainian manufacturers, assuring the availability of necessary capabilities and technologies.
"Yesterday, Jens Stoltenberg announced that NATO countries are ready to supply Ukraine with a million drones - and I, like every Ukrainian, am grateful for this support. Today, at the Munich Security Conference, on behalf of the entire Ukrainian defense, I called on NATO to purchase these million drones from Ukrainian manufacturers. We have the capabilities, we have the technologies, we have the engineers," Kamyshin wrote in a Telegram channel on Friday.
He noted that Ukraine can produce both inexpensive FPV drones and those flying over 1000 km, as well as ground and sea drones. These drones can be for combat, evacuation, reconnaissance, and strike purposes.
Kamyshin added that "the effectiveness of our drones has been proven on the front line, and their cost is highly competitive."
"Ordering a million drones in Ukraine is the best way to make more Russians good," he urged.
As reported, during the meeting of defense ministers of NATO member states in Brussels, partners made commitments to supply drones to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
