Volyn, Polissya, Siversk, and Slobozhansk axes: no significant changes. On March 16, the enemy shelled the vicinities of settlements of Berylivka, Tymonovychi (Chernihiv region), Atynsâke, Volfyne, Stepne, Kindrativka, Pokrovka, Hrabovske (Sumy region), Lemishchyne, Kozacha Lopanâ, Hlyboke, Hatyshche, Budarky, Ambarne, Kamyanka, and Zapadne (Kharkiv region).
Kupyansk and Lyman axes: the adversary conducted unsuccessful offensives in the vicinities of Hryanykivka, Kreminna, Kuzâmyne, Verkhnokamyanske, and Spirne. The invaders fired artillery at the vicinities of settlements of Dvorichna, Hryanykivka, Krokhmalâne (Kharkiv region), Nevsâke, and Bilohorivka (Luhansk region).
Bakhmut axis: the enemy continues to assault the city of Bakhmut. Ukrainian defenders repelled the adversary attacks in the vicinities of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, and Hryhorivka. In particular, Vasyukivka, Zaliznyanske, Hryhorivka, Novomarkove, Bakhmut, Ivanivsâke, Maiorsk, Zalizne, and New York (Donetsk region) were shelled by the enemy.
Avdiivka, Marinka, and Shakhtarske axes: the adversary conducted unsuccessful offensives towards Kamyanka, Avdiivka, Nevelske, and Marinka. The invaders continue preparations to resume their offensive on Vuhledar. In particular, Kamyanka, Avdiivka, Lastochkyne, Vodyane, Nevelske, Netaylove, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Heorhiivka, and Vuhledar (Donetsk region) were shelled by the enemy.
Zaporizhzhia and Kherson axes: the adversary is defending. The enemy shelled the vicinities of settlements near the line of contact, including Malynivka, Hulyaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Mali Shcherbaky, Kamyanske, Zaporizhzhia (Zaporizhzhia region), Zolota Balka, Beryslav, Vesele, Ivanivka, Inhulets, Antonivka, Zelenivka, Zymivnyk, Dniprovske (Kherson region), and the city of Kherson.
Russia continues to export looted grain from Ukraine. According to reports, a Russian self-propelled barge loaded with wheat was being transported by enemy tugboats from the seaport in the city of Berdyansk (Zaporizhzhia region).
Residents of the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region continue to undergo forced passportization. Thus, in the city of Tokmak, the Russian so-called âauthoritiesâ put in office by the occupation forces and representatives of the Russian FSB threatened local citizens of Ukraine, rejecting the Russian passports with the deportation of their children to the eastern oblasts of Russia. The parents themselves are threatened with being taken to Vasylivka (Zaporizhzhia region).
