More than 3.2 million people have visited Ukraine’s “Not For Sale” pavilion at the World EXPO 2025 in Osaka, according to the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine.
“The world exhibition EXPO 2025 in Osaka concluded on October 13, where Ukraine presented its pavilion ‘Not For Sale’ — a shop where nothing can be bought. Despite its modest size of just 53 square meters, the Ukrainian space welcomed over 3.2 million visitors. The pavilion received the silver award for Best Activation or Engagement at the World Expolympics and became a venue for signing 29 international agreements between Ukraine and Japan,” the ministry stated.
The exhibition served as a powerful diplomatic platform, hosting more than 140 official delegations, including European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, the Princess of Japan, the King of Sweden, the Mayor of Berlin, and even former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
“Visitors from around the world brought gifts, dressed in Ukrainian clothing, and some even wrote letters in Ukrainian. Japan showed exceptional solidarity by allowing Ukraine to participate in EXPO 2025 free of charge and by helping organize the exhibition itself,” the ministry added.
