PepsiCo products will no longer be sold in the Finnish parliament because the company has not ceased its operations in Russia. Yle reports.

This decision was made in response to demands from Finnish MP Tuomas Kettunen, who called for the removal of Pepsi products from the parliament due to the company's activities in Russia.

It was reported that the existing Pepsi beverages have been removed from the shelves.

The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption included American companies PepsiCo and Mars in the list of international sponsors of the war.

PepsiCo, which had initially announced the suspension of its advertising and beverage production in Russia following the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russia, resumed the production of "7Up" and "Mirinda" beverages under the "Evervess" and "Frustyle" brands in August 2022. Furthermore, in March 2023, the production of "Pepsi" beverages under the "Evervess" (premium price segment) and "Favorite" (lower price segment) brands was resumed.

In addition, PepsiCo launched a new brand of lemonade called "Russian Gift" in the country to replace the suspended products. PepsiCo continues to produce and distribute other goods such as chips, snacks, and dairy products.

PepsiCo's Lay's chips were found in Russian soldiers' ration packs, despite the company's promise to reduce its activities and suspend all advertising in Russia. Over 580 job vacancies in the country are listed on the company's career page
