The Deputy Prime Minister said this is part of the country's defense and containment strategy.
On Thursday, March 9, Poland began building fortifications on the border with Belarus.
This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister, head of the Ministry of National Defense of Poland Mariusz Blaszczak in Twitter. He posted photos showing soldiers setting up anti-tank hedgehogs at the border.
"In February, the construction of security structures on the border with the Kaliningrad region began. Today, the military began building fortifications on the border with Belarus. This is part of our defense and deterrence strategy," Blashchak wrote.
