The Russian army struck Zaporizhzhia. This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.
"The Russians struck Zaporizhzhia, targeting an infrastructure facility," he wrote.
The extent of the destruction is being assessed.
The number of injuries resulting from the morning strike by the Russians in Zaporizhzhia has risen to 16.
"The number of injured has increased to 16 people. Everyone is receiving medical assistance," he wrote.
Six people have died.
