Zaporizhzhia region
Over the past day, the Russian forces carried out 500 strikes on 13 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region, acording to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
“Russian forces conducted four airstrikes on Bilohirya, Poltavka, and Chervone. Three attacks with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) targeted Plavni and Mala Tokmachka. A total of 327 UAVs of various types, mostly FPV drones, attacked Zaporizhzhia, Bilenke, Plavni, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanilivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Charivne. Additionally, 166 artillery strikes were launched on the areas of Plavni, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Shcherbaky, Preobrazhenka, Novodanilivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Charivne,” the statement said.
19 reports of damage to residential houses and farm buildings were received. No civilian casualties were reported.
Also Russian aviation carried out a strike on the Kushuhum community in the Zaporizhzhia region this morning, causing destruction.
“The enemy struck the Kushuhum community, presumably using guided aerial bombs (GABs),” Fedorov wrote.
According to him, the attack damaged houses, power lines, and gas supply infrastructure. Information about possible casualties is being clarified.
Kherson region
In the Kherson region, three people were injured over the past day as a result of Russian aggression, according to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional State Administration.
According to him, the settlements of Shyroka Balka, Chornobaivka, Oleksandrivka, Sofiivka, Stanislav, Bilozerka, Naddnipryanske, Beryslav, Tomyna Balka, Novovorontsovka, Mykilske, Antonivka, Prydniprovske, Kizomys, Veletenske, Romashkove, Sadove, Dniprovske, Berehove, Molodizhne, Novoraisk, Shevchenkivka, Burhunka, Vesele, Dudchany, Zmiivka, Ivanivka, Inzhenerne, Kachkarivka, Kozatske, Kostyrka, Krupytsia, Lʹvove, Mykolaivka, Mylove, Mykhailivka, Novokairy, Novooleksandrivka, Novoraisk, Odradokamyanka, Olhivka, Stepanivka, and Kherson were all subjected to Russian drone attacks and artillery shelling.
Four apartment buildings, 28 private houses, a gas pipeline, private garages, and cars were damaged. Due to Russian aggression, three people were injured, Prokudin emphasized.
Dnipropetrovsk region
The Russian army carried out strikes on Nikopol and the Synelnykove district of the Dnipropetrovsk region, causing damage, as reported Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
According to him, in the evening and morning, the Russian army struck Nikopol several more times, using FPV drones and artillery, damaging a power line.
During the night, the Pokrovske community in the Synelnykove district was attacked by Russian drones. A house caught fire, but the blaze was extinguished. Solar panels, a residential house, a private enterprise, and a car were also damaged.
Donetsk region
On August 24, the Russian army killed one resident of the Donetsk region, as reported by Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration,.
According to him, Russian forces killed a resident of Drobysheve, and three more people were injured. Filashkin emphasized that the total number of victims of Russian aggression in the Donetsk region — 3,433 killed and 7,880 injured — does not include data from Mariupol and Volnovakha.
Sumy region
From the morning of August 24 to August 25, Russian forces carried out nearly 140 strikes across 46 settlements in Ukraine’s Sumy region, killing one person and injuring several others, the Sumy Regional Military Administration reported.
In Sumy city, men aged 40–63 and women aged 59–86 were wounded. In Novoslobid, a 37-year-old man was killed, and two others injured after an FPV drone strike. The heaviest attacks occurred in Sumy, Shostka, and Konotop districts.
Russian forces used GAB bombs, MRLS rockets, and drones in the assaults, causing widespread damage to homes, schools, vehicles, and civilian infrastructure across multiple communities, including Bilopillia, Znob-Novgorod, Vorozhba, Burin, and Romny. Authorities are assessing the full extent of the destruction and aiding affected residents.
