On the Pokrovsk direction, Russian troops are trying to reach the administrative border of Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions by May 9, 2025.
This was reported by the operational-strategic group of troops Khortytsia.
"The enemy army continues to attack in the Pokrovsk direction in the areas of Yelyzavetivka, Myrolyubivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Troitske, Oleksiivka, Lysivka, Novoserhiivka, Novooleksandrivka, and Andriyivka. As a result of combat clashes, our defenders destroyed one passenger car, two ATVs, and five motorcycles. All enemy attacks were repelled, and no losses to our positions were sustained. The enemy continues attempts to reach the administrative border of Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions by May 9," the statement said.
It was also noted that over the past day, in the Kharkiv direction, the Russian forces attacked positions of the defense forces in Vovchansk and renewed its offensive on Lyptsy, but was unsuccessful.
In the Kupiansk direction, the Russian army unsuccessfully tried to improve its tactical position near Nova Kruhlyakivka and Zahrizove.
In the Lyman direction, the Russian forces attacked near the settlements of Hrekivka, Novoserhiivka, Olhivka, and Novomykhailivka. Ukrainian defenders repelled all attacks.
In the Siversk direction, the Russian forces attacked in the area of Hryhorivka and Verkhnokamianske, with no success.
In the Kramatorsk and Toretsk directions, the Russians carried out assault operations towards Stupochky, Mayske, Bila Hora, Chasiv Yar, Dilyivka, Dachne, Petrivka, Krymske, and Toretsk. Russian forces attacks were repelled, and no losses to our positions occurred.
In the Novopavlivsk direction, the Russian forces tried to break through our defenders' lines near Kostiantynopil and Bahatyr. The enemy's assault was repelled, and the defense forces continue to hold back the pressure, destroying enemy personnel and equipment.
