As part of a working trip to France, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov held meetings with representatives of leading French defense companies.
The discussions focused on expanding cooperation in the defense industry.
A special focus of the meetings was on direct procurement, production localization in Ukraine, and the creation of joint ventures. This will enhance the capabilities of Ukraine's defense industry and ensure sustained support for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, emphasized the head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
"I am grateful to our French partners for their interest, openness to cooperation, and willingness to develop industrial solutions together with Ukraine," underlined Rustem Umerov.
