A separate section will be devoted to the Belgorod-Dniester fortress at the exhibition, therefore, the original archaeological materials from the Akkerman fortress, which are stored in the funds of the Belgorod-Dnestrovsky Museum of Local Lore, will significantly complement this project. The basis of the section will be four embedded building plates from the Akkerman fortress, which disappeared during the Second World War and were found only in 2013 in the funds of the Kherson Regional Museum of Local Lore. The section will also be supplemented by archaeological materials from the funds of the Institute of Archeology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, cartographic, illustrative and informational materials.
