A Ukrainian drone attacked an electrical substation in the Kursk region of Russia, leaving 7 populated areas without electricity. This information was confirmed by the Security Service. Kursk region Governor Roman Starovoit reported on the incident.
"In the morning, in the village of Snagost in the Korenovsky district, a Ukrainian drone dropped an explosive device on an electrical substation, causing a power outage in 7 populated areas. Emergency teams will begin restoring power as soon as the situation permits," wrote Starovoit.
It is emphasized that no one was injured.
Subsequently, sources in the Security Service of Ukraine confirmed that the drone belonged to them.
"Russians should understand that if they continue to attack Ukrainian energy facilities, they will receive a strong response," emphasized the Security Service representative.
He emphasized that Ukrainian resources allow them to do so.
"We really want Russians to experience what a blackout is, the schedules of power outages, and the search for generators firsthand," added the Security Service representative.
