The export of goods from Ukraine for January-November 2024 amounted to $38.4 billion, which is 16.5% more compared to the same period last year. Meanwhile, the import of goods increased by 11% to $63.7 billion.

This was reported by the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.

"For January-November 2024, the export of goods amounted to $38,423.2 million, or 116.5% compared to January-November 2023, while imports totaled $63,662.1 million, or 111.0%," the statement says.

It is noted that the negative balance amounted to $25.2 billion compared to $24.4 billion for the same period last year. The export-to-import coverage ratio was 0.60 (compared to 0.58 for January-November 2023).

Among the groups of goods with the highest export growth were electrical machines (+33.8%), ferrous metals (+18.1%), and cereals (+16.5%). The export of animal or vegetable fats and oils also increased (+3.8%).

Imports increased in the categories of: "electrical machines" (+36.6%), "nuclear reactors, boilers, machinery" (+24.8%), and "land transport vehicles, except railway" (+8.4%). At the same time, the volumes of imported oil and petroleum products decreased by 14.5%.

According to the State Statistics Service, foreign trade operations were conducted with partners from 228 countries.
