On Monday, July 14, a two-month support campaign for Ukraine called "Dronatonas" will launch in Lithuania, initiated by the public organization Blue/Yellow.

This was reported by Delfi.

According to the organizers, they plan to raise 1 million euros during this period to purchase drones for Ukraine. The funds will be used to buy various drones, equipment for controlling them, and accessories.

“We see that every night the enemy tries to shell Ukrainian cities with hundreds of drones, aiming to intimidate the population. At the same time, this is a relatively inexpensive but very effective tool. More than two-thirds of all requests we receive from the front line are related to drones. Therefore, our goal this summer is drones, drones, and more drones,” said Jonas Ohmanas, co-founder of Blue/Yellow, as quoted in the report.

The "Dronatonas" campaign will run until September 14.

Since the beginning of the invasion, the organization has purchased more than 5,000 different types of drones and related components for Ukraine. Since its establishment in 2014, Lithuanians have already donated 100 million euros to Ukraine through this organization.
