Ukraine’s Defense Forces carried out an airstrike on a Russian forces personnel concentration point belonging to a unit of the 2nd Combined Arms Army, which was stationed in a multi-story panel residential building in Pokrovsk, Donetsk region.
This was reported on Facebook by the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It was confirmed that around ten Russian forces personnel were eliminated as a result of the strike. Part of the Russian personnel was reportedly trapped under the rubble of concrete structures.
“The location of the strike has been confirmed by objective control,” the Air Assault Forces stated.
According to the paratroopers, the Russian army is concentrating personnel in Pokrovsk in an attempt to develop its offensive within the operational sector of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces.
For staging areas, Russian forces use multi-story buildings, as concrete structures, basements, and internal communications allow them to conceal personnel, mask communication systems, and set up drone launch points for strikes against Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
Following detailed intelligence analysis, the defenders identify priority Russian forces concentration sites and strike them.
