Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha held the first-ever meeting with Bhutan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Trade, D.N. Dhungyel, on the sidelines of the Raisina Dialogue 2025 in New Delhi.

Sybiha shared the news on social media platform X, stating:

"I was pleased to meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bhutan, D.N. Dhungyel. D. N. Dhungyel at Raisina Dialogue 2025. The first ever meeting between foreign ministers of Ukraine and the Kingdom of Bhutan. We discussed potential areas for mutually beneficial partnership, particularly in the sphere of energy and infrastructure."

 

He also conveyed President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's best wishes to His Majesty the King of Bhutan, emphasizing Ukraine’s interest in expanding bilateral cooperation.

The minister thanked Bhutan for its support of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, including within the UN.
