Former spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Oleg Nikolenko, has been appointed as the Consul General of Ukraine in Toronto, Canada.
Nikolenko announced his appointment on Facebook.
"A new chapter. New responsibilities. New opportunities to promote the interests of Ukraine and Ukrainians and bring victory closer," he wrote.
Prior to this, Nikolenko announced his resignation from the position of spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
