On Sunday, September 10th, Russian occupiers are planning to hold pseudo-elections in the occupied territory. The selection of "candidates" is quite remarkable.
As reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in their morning update, the Russians plan to hold "elections of heads and deputies of local councils" today.
"It should be noted that the overwhelming majority of candidates don't even have higher education and work as janitors, security guards, and cleaners. The occupiers simply use their identities to conceal the real "leaders" of the captured territories," the statement says.
The General Staff also emphasized that the mentioned pseudo-elections and their results will not be recognized by the entire civilized world, and the very fact of their conduct and the participation of the local population will be used by the occupation authorities to account for human mobilization resources and their further conscription into the ranks of the aggressor country's occupying army.
"The command of the Ukrainian Defense Forces urges ignoring participation in such pseudo-democratic events and avoiding conscription into the occupation forces," added the General Staff
