The IV Bobritsa Film Festival gathered more than 4,000 guests
The Bobritsa Film Festival, which was supported by the Ukrainian State Film Agency gathered more than 4,000 guests. The film festival took place in the open air in the center of the village Bobritsa.
The goal of the Bobritsa Film Festival is to bring quality cinema to places where there are no cinemas, but where Ukrainian audiences are waiting for it. This year 26 works from 14 countries were submitted to the competition programme, such as Ukraine, Canada, Chile, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, Great Britain and others. The winners were chosen by a professional jury. These are producers, directors, screenwriters.

The film festival took place in the open air: the action lasted for two days in the center of the picturesque village of Bobritsa, not far from Kyiv, at five locations at the same time. The organisers of the Bobritsa Film Festival note that every year the level and scale of the film event grows.
Winners of this year's Bobritsa Film Festival are:
- Best Documentary "Not Alone" directed by Snizhana Gusarevich, Ukraine.
- Best Short Film "Oh!" - directed by Olga Zolotareva, Ukraine.
- The best student work "Herr Herrmann Mann" ("Mr. Hermann Mann") - directed by Lars Smekal, Germany.
- The best animated film "The Boy and The Mountain" - directed by Santiago Aguilera and Gabriel Monreal, Chile.
The Bobritsa Film Festival was started by the community of the village of Bobritsa with the participation of the Bobritsa Village Charitable Foundation "Development and Improvement" and the Bobritsa Village Council. The festival is supported by the Ukrainian State Film Agency.
