The Minister of Defense, Rustem Umerov, along with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valeriy Zaluzhny, and the Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Serhiy Shaptala, visited the positions of the Defense Forces in the Kupyansk area.

The Commander of the Joint Forces Operation "Khortytsia," General Colonel Oleksandr Sirskyi, briefed them on the situation around Kupyansk, where Ukrainian soldiers repel constant enemy attack attempts. There are no successes for the Russian occupiers in this direction.
"I had the honor to meet with the commanders of units currently fighting in this direction. They reported on the situation and current challenges. Decisions will be made in the near future – the enemy won't like it," emphasized the Minister of Defense.
