The NATO–Ukraine Joint Analysis, Training and Education Centre (JATEC) took part in the specialized Steadfast Duel 2025 exercises.
This was reported by the NATO Representation to Ukraine.
“Representatives of the NATO–Ukraine Joint Analysis, Training and Education Centre (JATEC) participated in Steadfast Duel 2025 — this year’s largest computer-simulated command-and-staff exercises, which brought together 32 Alliance member countries,” the post said.

The Alliance representation stated that the exercises aimed to test allied interoperability and readiness to operate together across multiple domains of defence — on land, in the air, at sea, in cyberspace, and in space.
“JATEC’s participation in Steadfast Duel 2025 demonstrates the deepening partnership between NATO and Ukraine, since JATEC, as the first joint civilian-military structure, makes an important contribution to strengthening collective security and interoperability,” the representation emphasized.
At the end of October, the NATO–Ukraine Joint Analysis, Training and Education Centre (JATEC) and Allied Joint Forces Transformation Command conducted a new stage of trials for an innovative solution to counter guided aerial bombs.
The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine stressed that this development is intended to protect Ukrainian servicemembers and civilians from one of the most destructive threats of modern warfare. To date, it has progressed from concept to prototypes at various levels of technological implementation.
Ukrainian specialists are taking part directly in the tests and providing expert assessments, which allows the solution to be optimally adapted to the realities of the modern battlefield.
