Russian forces launched missile strikes on southern Odessa region on June 12, damaging residential areas and energy infrastructure, according to regional authorities.

"One of the missiles struck a private residential sector, setting three homes ablaze and damaging three others. Two people sustained shrapnel wounds in the attack and received medical assistance," said Odesa Regional Military Administration head Oleh Kiper.

Emergency services responded to the scene as officials continued to assess the full extent of the damage.

In a separate attack later the same day, Russian forces targeted a solar power facility in the south of the region.

“No one was injured, fortunately,” Kiper said in a statement.

The attacks come as Russia continues to target both civilian infrastructure and energy facilities across Ukraine.

In total, two people were injured in the missile attacks, while residential property and renewable energy infrastructure sustained significant damage.
