The Russian forces struck Odessa's port infrastructure with two ballistic missiles. Two persons was killed and 7 others were wounded.

This information was reported by Oleh Kiper, the head of the Odesa Regional Administration.

"As a result of today's Russian attack, a port worker lost his life. My sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased…"

8 more people were injured: four are in critical condition, two are in moderate condition, and two sustained minor injuries. Doctors are providing all necessary medical assistance and are fighting for the lives and health of each person.

UPDATE

"Unfortunately, the number of victims of today’s missile attack has increased. A 71-year-old resident of Odesa died in the hospital from the injuries sustained. My sincere condolences to the family…" wrote Oleh Kiper.

Preliminarily, the Russians used Iskander-M type missiles. The prosecutor's office has launched a pre-trial investigation into the war crime.

The strike caused significant damage to infrastructure: the engine room was damaged, windows and doors in administrative buildings were shattered, and equipment and vehicles were destroyed.
