The short animated film "The Tiger is Strolling Around" by Ukrainian director Anastasia Falileeva has entered the competition programme of the prestigious LA Shorts International Film Festival in Los Angeles.
LA Shorts International Film Festival ranks among the most prestigious and largest short film festivals in the world. The festival is accredited by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts and the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television. This year the Festival is celebrating 25 years.
The short animated film "The Tiger is Strolling Around" by Ukrainian director Anastasia Falileeva has entered the competition program of the prestigious LA Shorts International Film Festival in Los Angeles. The film was created by KAPI studio with the support of the Ukrainian State Film Agency.
The picture is dedicated to the topic of adolescent depression. Through the prism of anxious fantasies, it tells the story of high school student Katsumi, who is experiencing a depressive disorder and despaired of the support and love of even loved ones.
Initially, my film was selected for the festival in Tokyo, now - in Los Angeles. It's like taking the two most desirable peaks!

The film is made in the stop motion technique. The peculiarity of the cartoon is that the material for creating dolls and decorations was garbage.
Apparently, all "moviegoers" dream of being on the Oscar red carpet. We can assume that we have taken the first step towards it.
