The PlantIn app, based on Machine Learning and designed to help care for plants, became the top app by downloads in the App Store.

It took first place in the Plant Apps niche globally, significantly outperforming others. Additionally, PlantIn is rising to the top in the Education category in the USA, currently holding second place.

PlantIn was developed by the eponymous IT company, which is part of the Genesis ecosystem. Since its launch, it has reached over 35 million downloads, growing by another 2.7 million in the first quarter of 2025. It has also received the "App of the Day" recognition in the UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and other countries.

“We focus on solutions that truly add value to users. Thanks to a deep analysis of their behavior, needs, and feedback, we redesigned the Disease Identifier feature — and its usage increased by 82%. Another important approach is constant iterative product development, because even small changes can significantly affect the results. For example, swapping screens increased purchase conversion by 14%, and changing a single word on a button increased clicks by 5%. These kinds of systematic improvements help us create a quality product and form an active community around plant care,” said Ruslan Begeka, Growth Manager at PlantIn.
