Dream in the Wave: Short Modern Greek Prose of the Late 19th and Early 20th Centuries.

The anthology of short modern Greek prose presents to the Ukrainian reader the figures of the three most important contemporary Greek authors. They worked in the second half of the nineteenth century and in the early twentieth century. They laid the foundation for the development of Greek literature in the twentieth century. The heroes of their works go through a difficult path of accepting new life circumstances, the birth of new identities, breaking stereotypes, the crisis of tradition. They are trying to find in themselves a light that will show them the way they need, a living source that will energize them. The book is intended for a wide range of readers, especially those who want to get acquainted with the cultural space of Greece outside the traditional field of antiquity.

The presentation will be held on the Microsoft Teams platform.
