During Organic Day in Ukraine, the top 20 domestic organic brands were presented, with a dairy producer taking the lead, according to AgroPortal.ua.
Elena Deineko, Chair of the Organic Initiative public union, said the ranking aims to promote organic products among consumers, increase recognition of Ukraine’s national organic labeling, and develop the country’s organic market.
The ranking was based on data from the certification body Organic Standard LLC. Thirty producers leading in organic product sales by volume and value were shortlisted, and an independent jury selected the top 20.
