Ukraine's trade turnover for the first five months of 2025 amounted to $48.2 billion.
This was reported by the State Customs Service of Ukraine.
“From January to May 2025, Ukraine imported goods worth $31.3 billion and exported goods worth $16.9 billion,” the agency specified.
The countries from which Ukraine imported the most goods were China — $6.5 billion, Poland — $2.9 billion, and Germany — $2.6 billion. The largest export destinations from Ukraine were Poland ($2 billion), Turkey ($1.4 billion), and Italy ($1 billion).
Of the total goods imported during the reporting period, 68% consisted of the following categories:
- machinery, equipment, and transport — $11.9 billion;
- chemical industry products — $5.2 billion;
- fuel and energy products — $4 billion.
The top three exported goods from Ukraine were:
- food products — $9.7 billion;
- metals and metal products — $1.9 billion;
- machinery, equipment, and transport — $1.5 billion.
