Units of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in coordination with other components of the Defense Forces, on June 15 struck an important facility of the Russian military-industrial complex in Yelabuga.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"As part of efforts to reduce the Russia’s ability to produce attack unmanned aerial vehicles, on June 15, units of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in coordination with other components of the Defense Forces, struck an important facility of the Russian military-industrial complex," the statement reads.

It is noted that the Defense Forces hit one of the locations where attack drones are produced.

Specifically, the target was a facility for the production of UAVs in Yelabuga, Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation.

This facility of the Russian military-industrial complex is used for the manufacturing, testing, and launching of attack drones against the territory of Ukraine, particularly against energy and civilian infrastructure.

It has been confirmed that the strike weapons reached the target area.

Results are being clarified.

"The Defense Forces continue to take all necessary measures to undermine the military and economic potential of the Russian invaders and force the Russian Federation to stop its armed aggression against Ukraine," the General Staff emphasized.
