The war on the border of Ukraine is not only about explosions, shelling and the names of the departed. On the other side of the front, lives of (un)ordinary people caught in the broken roads of Donbas are being destroyed. This performance won the 2022 Shevchenko National Prize - highest national award for cultural works - and presents a series of stories about the struggles of women and men, physically and mentally affected by the war, and the wounds that never heal. A "powerful play" (The Guardian), which takes a âruthless look at how war dehumanises man" (The Independent).
